Words of a Lost Soul

You have seen me, breaking down at the most unexpected moments and sobbing uncontrollably whilst everything around me is merry and cheerful. You have felt my fear of coming back to life and breathing in faith, because you very well know that I freeze when it comes to trusting someone, or even worse, trusting my own self. You do realise that I have been broken in innumerable ways, in the most brutal forms which can ever exist, and that I have been pulled down by every well-wisher of mine so that they can hold onto their growth. You know that I had hit the rock bottom long ago, and now, I am just being buried even deeper, to a world which knows no love, no mercy, no faith and no kindness.  Yes, I am talking about a world from which the dead come back to life. A world which we all go through, which we all live in, which we all are familiar with, and which we all fear. It changes everything about us, and it did change everything about me too.  It made me heartless, for it taught ...

You ever sit by the window and watch the world passing by, absorbing the most abstract thoughts you have ever had; and then with an unforeseen twitch you drift back to the reality. The time ticking by gets louder while you rush to your respective workplaces'. And like every other day, you drown in the similar monotonous tune of abiding by a certain direction the society has set for you. Amidst all the organized chaos, those unknown vague thoughts rest somewhere in you, hopeful to fill in the greyish hue you have been pretending to live with; and every night, before you finally fall asleep, you muse about living the beauty you actually intended to live.  No, you don't have to be disheartened by every other person or situation which conveys you how bad your dream in practical world is.
